Imo someone who believes the US was founded based on a "compact with God" is pretty ignorant of both religion and US history. A belief in accuracy does not amount to bashing religion ... in the Judeo/Christian religions there are a number of compacts with God but not one of them involved Americans or Europeans for that matter, but rather certain tribes in the middle east. Nothing in scripture indicates that the God portrayed therein was even remotely interested in a nation called the United States which would not even come into being for thousands of years. Ms. Coulter may wish to read her bible before commenting on compacts with God. Some of the founding fathers may have believed they were entering into a compact with God, who knows, but God itself has been silent on the matter.
