Fred - Wind River technology (software) controls the two Mars Rovers. WIND is VERY involved in their success. It says something about WIND that their software has worked this long and this well to keep the Rovers operational. If you own this company , read the site referenced below. WIND is involved in some very interesting things. windriver.com
