What you say is more perceptive than you realize. In fact, Mbeki's NEPAD (New Economic Policy for Africa's Development) is virtually identical in scope to what W has mentioned frequently, and in fact even in a speech today.

You can see at a glance that the SAn index has massively outperformed the S&P in the past 2-3 years. Whether that will continue is, of course, anyone's guess. |
