There is a significant portion of the population that judges their position on the political spectrum compared to the MSM. Sidney amy assume that because he is not that far left of the New York Times he is centrist. Most people who use the MSM as a measuring stick deny that the MSM is far left.

According to polls the MSM has as many as 92 out of 100 people in the voting population to the right of them. I do not believe that in general they are quite that far left.
