Go back and read Kerry's speech when he made his vote. You will be stunned by how correct he was. Warning Bush not to invade without solid prep, a very large coalition and adequate time for all the inspections to be finished. Only as a last resort was Kerry's real vote. Very clear. And exactly what Bush promised at the time.

He has nothing to apologize for. Saddam was a menace who needed to be dealt with using a real threat of force. But AFTER Al Qaida. Not until that job was done. And Bush didn't finish that.
