Have you cleared your plan with Ted Kennedy? :-) That would work only in certain areas- -basically the same areas that they work in now, I think. You need a temperature differential to drive the wind and, to get high wind speeds, a pass close to sea level for the wind to roar through. Otherwise you get only a very low speed wind that may not even overcome the friction in the turbine. That's all I have to say at the moment. This stuff gets idiotically complicated. :-)
