I knew Veterans of Viet Nam who returned to school and in their graduate work became interns with me. Their feelings were just as described in this book..

Then I read all the books that I could about Viet Nam having had some students who were conscientious objectors....etc.

I missed this one and will get it at the Library. My step brother is still not normal having been in that war which he cannot talk about even though I urge him to do so.

He just never recovered Post Traumatic Shock... All we can glean is that he saw his buddies blown up and that is was a horrible mess as this book ( I read snippets but the print is too small to proceed further ) describes.

Thank you for sharing.

Northampton is a beautiful place. I almost went to graduate school there.. Smith but ended up at Hofstra...
