I'm just trying to provide balance to your statements. You said that it is a fact that there was no link between 9/11 and Saddam. And I pointed out that the only fact we know for certain is that there very well could have been a link, but we don't have a smoking gun. The fact is we have a lot of circumstantial evidence that Saddam knew something about an attack on us.

Does that justify a pre-emptive war on Iraq? I'd say no, it does not. We have a lot of circumstantial evidence on a lot of countries. If we pre-emptively attacked everyone one of them, we'd be bankrupt and our soldiers would die en masse.

Having said all that, don't make statements that you simply cannot prove. Maybe there was no link between Saddam and 9/11 or maybe there was. We'll never know.

What scares me most of all are people like you who make up facts and state them as certainty. You blame Bush for doing that, yet you practice the same crap.
