I don't think you have any grasp as to what the strict rules of engagement are at this point. According to the soldiers, the war is being fought by the lawyers at this point. The biggest concern of the soldiers is shooting the wrong person and being sent to Leavenworth. The Iraqi special ops are calling the shots and telling our troops when they can attack insurgent cells. I am sure our military leaders are using all the technology available to help the Iraqi leaders make these decisions. I doubt the Iraqi military is going to send our troops packing until they have the jihadi killers under control.
