And if Bush chooses to do that, future presidents will do it out-of hand. It's ALMOST as good as judicial term limits.

And incredibly STUPID decisions like O'Connor (among others) make would bump them off the rotation. It's a beautiful way to stab the Imperial Judiciary through the heart with an oak stake.
