I cannot forbid responses- I do not think I ever suggested I could. But I will not play gotcha- which is what you obviously wanted to play with your game about my position on China. When people obviously want to play a game I am not interested in, I will ask them not to post to me. You can get your point across by posting to the thread- the ONLY reason to post to someone who does not want you to post to them is to express your dominance and aggression. I cannot stop people from expressing dominance and aggression but I can ask them not to, and hope that they leave me alone.

If they do not, they do not. That's the way life is. You cannot make people be civil and polite on SI, or anywhere else. You can only hope they will be.
