I'm a pretty risk-adverse person and if you are adverse to risk you can never make real money gambling. The flip side is I'll never lose real money, either.

I go to Vegas every couple of years and have a good time, budgeting a certain amount for gambling. I'm a morning person so I'll usually have a blackjack table all to myself with my own pit boss and everything. They're fun to talk to and generally agree with my approach for recreational gambling.

I like going to the dog track with a $20 bill also. I don't see the point of risking more than that on a dog.
