If that's what you are worried about, then lets nuke Israel and be done with it.

Now look who's showing their true colors. You grieve for all the people dying in Iraq, yet think nothing of nuking millions of Israelis. Something doesn't jive here.

The nuclear bomb is going to spread. There is no way in hell you can stop it.

I've seen people like you before. You are the type that believes in the evil in man, but not in the good. You believe that the evil is overwhelming and there is nothing you can do but put your head in the sand. Close your eyes and it will all go away. I am glad that we have leaders who don't think that way. Clinton sure as hell didn't believe as you do and no Democrat I've ever talked to believes we should stop trying to halt nuclear proliferation. The reasons are manifold:
1) they are optimists, not pessimists like you, and they would not have been elected if they were pessimists
2) they believe that the good people in the world hold enough of the levers of power to make it exceedingly difficult for men like Osama to get the bomb
3) they believe the bad people in power value their power enough to realize that when men like Osama get the bomb everyone loses, because retaliation won't single out just Osama
4) they believe that building a bomb is a hell of a lot more difficult than cooking one up in your bathroom. You need the resources of a sovereign state to be able to do it and you need lots of time.

So yes, nuclear proliferation is a difficult issue, but it can be stopped cold. We just need to stay focused and we need to marginalize people like you, so you don't do enough damage to allow havoc to be wrought on the world.
