Two things. First, I said there was pretty damning circumstantial evidence and I have provided plenty of links backing it up. There's no smoking gun.

Second, are the type of person that always knows what is right and never makes mistakes? If so, then you must be canonized right now, because you would be unique in the world.

Congress voted to go to Iraq. If I was snookered, then 95% of America was snookered and so was our Congress. However, that was not the case. Many people, including a hell of a lot of prominant Democrats believed Saddam had WMD. No one could prove it, but the circumstantial evidence was overwhelming and faced with a choice, they chose not to trust Saddam.

Most people are not so much against the war in Iraq, as they are against the conduct of our war in Iraq and the incompetence that our leaders have shown. If we had gone in with the Powell doctrine of overwhelming force, if we had a plan for waging the peace, if we had gone in with a true U.N. mandate and worldwide support, then things would be different now. And btw, that last sentence is virtually verbatim from many Democratic Congressmen and women.

Sticking your head in the sand in today's world is not an option.
