Talking of big biz, if you ever get stuck in the UK you can go to any one of these places

jdwetherspoon.co.uk

and get some real ale for about half price that other establishments charge. The food is passable but no where near a good grade. The real ale served is usually a random selection but we often get brews from these guys (located in southern England) in Scotland in first rate condition.

The strong hop taste is maybe an acquired taste for some.

The temperature real ale is served at is "cellar temperature" where the full flavour can be appreciated i.e. not fully cold. Cold served brews are OK I guess but in a different realm.
