Two things. First, I said there was pretty damning circumstantial evidence and I have provided plenty of links backing it up. There's no smoking gun.

I have seen the "damning" evidence; its not very damning and much of it was manipulated. You have read the Downing street memos, haven't you?

Second, are the type of person that always knows what is right and never makes mistakes?

No, but in this case.......the invasion of Iraq.......it didn't take a genius to see it was a mistake and that Bush had his own agenda. Those of you supported it had your own agenda. And for that you should be held accountable as well.

If so, then you must be canonized right now, because you would be unique in the world.

I am smart but I am human. I am the first to admit when I've made a mistake. However, I use my intelligence to try to avoid mistakes. They can be very costly.

Congress voted to go to Iraq. If I was snookered, then 95% of America was snookered and so was our Congress.

It was not 95% of Americans.........it was closer to 55%.

However, that was not the case. Many people, including a hell of a lot of prominant Democrats believed Saddam had WMD.

Yes, and they should have known better. That's why I have always registered independent. The Dems. are guilty of their own ca ca.

No one could prove it, but the circumstantial evidence was overwhelming and faced with a choice, they chose not to trust Saddam.

BS. It was not overwhelming. That's why a very clear majority of Americans wanted the UN to take the lead in any invasion. Even back then, they smelled a rat.

Most people are not so much against the war in Iraq, as they are against the conduct of our war in Iraq and the incompetence that our leaders have shown. If we had gone in with the Powell doctrine of overwhelming force, if we had a plan for waging the peace, if we had gone in with a true U.N. mandate and worldwide support, then things would be different now. And btw, that last sentence is virtually verbatim from many Democratic Congressmen and women.

Read the latest polls. More and more Americans are believing the war in Iraq was unnecessary. Why do you think they are talking impeachment? This is a crime on a grand scale. We have three and half more years of Bush........we can't afford such criminal behavior............both morally and financially.
