The key sentence in the story about IBM settlement: Jackson noted that Microsoft retaliated by charging IBM more than other PC makers for copies of Windows. Exactly what Intel does. I bet AMD has a half dozen examples worth that much each, of Intel raising chipset prices or theatening to, when an OEM uses AMD processors. Petz
