Sure the Downing street memos are about as damning to Tony and Bush as the all of the circumstantial evidence we had on Saddam was damning to Saddam. So you are willing to impeach Bush based on the circumstantial evidence of those memos, yet you aren't willing to condemn Saddam for equally damning circumstantial evidence. You aren't very evenhanded.

As far as the rest, if Bush was impeached, we'd be stuck with Cheney. Do you really want that? I can guarantee you that I sure as hell don't. If the Dems manage to impeach him too as an accomplice, who's next in line? We'd have to impeach quite a few people before we get to someone capable of running this country in a different way. Impeachment is not going to happen, but if there was a chance that it could, it wouldn't be worth it.

Instead, save your energy for 2008. Get rid of Howard Dean. Start trumping your middle of the road Democrats. I can't name any other than Lieberman, but surely some exist. That is the only thing that will get the country on a better path.
