Henry, why didn't you say that you were mentioned in that story? You don't come across as the 'modest' type -- is it because 'thestreet' called you an "An obsessive Internet poster who dominates several sites with his exegeses on Ligand Pharmaceuticals", and an "unabashed tout -- and sometime nuisance -- of a stock he owns".

Also, the story point directly to you as the source of the LGND/J&J rumor: "Lately, Niman, who also posts as HenryNFox on America Online, has been wondering aloud about whom the San Diego biotech firm will choose as a partner for its new diabetes drug."

You also failed to mention that the story also cites a busted deal: "Negotiations between the company and Warner-Lambert (WLA:NYSE) are said to have been most recently switched off"

And as for a deal with Lily, the article also "cautions that completing a deal always takes longer than you think."
