It happens on the Gulf coast about this time of year in one or more places.

10 to 1 the local authorities know this. But the only thing they can do is warn people to stay out of the surf until conditions change. But that would mean losing business at the busiest time of the year and that would make local business owners very cross with them. In light of that, what is a few shark attacks that they can claim are unprecedented and unpredictable?


You would think people would be smart enough to stay out of the water but I guess we are not talking about people but teenagers. Everyone knows they are invulnerable.

I am just surprised there are so many attacks in such a short period of time.
