Yeah, it's not the favorite subject for the Chamber of Commerce. On the radio the other day they said that the chance of getting attacked by a shark are less than getting struck by lightening. I couldn't help but think "yeah, unless you are in the ocean or gulf, then the odds of the shark thing go way up".

That's why people like you aren't on the Chamber. <g>

I've been about a mile out in the gulf, standing on a submerged sandbar about a city block distance from the anchored boat, knee deep in 88 degree water, drinking a cold beer, when a half dozen hammerheads swim by your legs.

Now why would you do that?

Interesting feeling of intense fear and resignation... nothing to do but pop another cold one and enjoy the sunshine.

Reminds me of living in this country under the Bush administration.
