The error most presidents have made in the past is saying, "I GOTTA get the vacancy filled."

The case for that has never been made, and the domestic enemy's obstruction may have finally laid that silly idea to rest.

The best cure for a public that has been weened on the idea that all life revolves around judicial tyranny, and that our thinking should be controlled by panels of un-elected lawyers, is an empty judiciary.

The second best is a judiciary that is TERM LIMITED one way or another. Revolving recess appointments brings about a version of the latter system, and returns the question of structuring the judiciary BACK into presidential politics where it was intended to be.

Imagine Satan trying to run around the issue of the kind of baby-killing judges she'd recess-appoint if elected.

Of course, the Senate could always get themselves out of that jail-by abolishing the filibuster. The Mad Cow may be a total bastard, but he's NEVER been hard to outsmart...
