Serbia and Kosovo were freed without losing a single US troop. How about some kudos for Clinton and Wes Clark for a great job? They also showed how cooperation with our traditional allies works, and how much we need them.

The US cannot handle these big military campaigns by ourselves. We can free Granada or Panama but Iraq was way too big a bite to swallow, especially since it is surrounded by Arab nations, some of whom are enemies of ours. What we have now is a middle eastern Vietnam in the process of becoming a huge quagmire. We will be lucky if we get out of there in 5 years.
