At 150 mph if you go over a bump or gradual rise of a certain size the front end of the car could rise about 0.3 meters....

The air stream at 150 mph will then lift the front even more, turning the car into a wing...

Got your pilot's liscense ?

Mercedes had this problem about 3 years ago at LeMans. After the second car took off from the runway - er, racetrack - it got to an altitude of about 80 feet, looped, then landed correctly after the car behind the Mercedes passed it by going UNDERNEATH the flying Mercedes....

(It was okay, the car behind was flashing it's lights...)

They pulled all their cars from the race, and went back to the wind tunnel.
