You're correct of course, but "Marxism" sound worse, so that's what Wayne will use. Ironically, Wayne ignores the closer analogy to Marxism which is to take the property solely for public use.

In the course of reading the decision of the Court as well as the dissenting opinion, you have to notice Hawaii Housing Authority v. Midkiff [1984] straylight.law.cornell.edu

There the Court ruled unanimously that the HHA could condemn property and transfer ownership to other private parties, solely because the original owners owned too much.
