When my Teacher (Adi Da) visits the area in which I live, he spends many hours, often daily, sitting silently and motionless in Redwood Groves, meditating the trees and with the trees. He considers old-growth Redwoods to be the most Spiritually advanced of ALL non-human beings. When you study Redwoods you realize that a Redwood forest is a COMMUNITY, with interlocking root structures, smaller trees acting as windbreaks for larger ones, etc. How many generations is it going to take for humans to realize they are ONE community?
