re: The second any Iraqi government requests that they be removed, they will be removed. Yeah, they will be removed... not the bases, the Iraqi government. The Philippine government asked us to get rid of massive bases in the late 1980's (Subic Bay. etc.) and we did. Most countries like US bases because they bring in huge amounts of economic activity.
