The Sorrows of Empire: Militarism, Secrecy, and the End of the Republic by Chalmers Johnson Raymond, I want to thank you for the excellent book recommendation you made for us here on SI. The book is very intelligently written and makes clear the US military imperialism and the misguided foreign policy positions we pursue that exacerbate international tensions and demonstrate our enthusiasm for war. This is an outstanding book that is must reading for anyone interested in current world affairs. What do you suggest be next on my reading list?
