I agree with you, but the U.N. isn't just an annoying beauracracy. Instead, it is an institution that has become ineffective at dealing with today's most pressing issues, like Iran and Sudan and the list goes on.

The UN is only as strong as the US and Security Council allow it to be. The UN has been the puppet of the superpowers for decades. That's why Israel gives it the bird every time a new resolution is passed against it. And why do you think that is?

And why are the nation's hawks suddenly so condemning of the UN......because its stands between them and their plans for international expansion? Attacks against the UN are just more tripe emanating from Bush and his cronies. Their intent is very transparent.

Bush wants control over everything including the internet.
