Rove would love to blame the messenger except there is an angry prosecutor in his path. That prosecutor knows the White House knew exactly who the guilty parties were when the outing happened and they stonewalled, wasting everyone's time and money. The White House may be about to learn the same thing Nixon's did, that covering up makes thing worse.
