A mess yes. Leave it to Paul. Yes, the empty half of the glass is a reminder ot the late 90's and the early 2000's in cable and the mood in the financial market. Fortunately, PA is still worth over 20 billion, had the foresight to change the money manager at Vulcan, remains out of the eye of the public, and has a strong interest in technology including internet communication as well as everything that goes with it. Hey the guy is one man. He wasn't born into Royalty. He is self made. He knows how to survive. Yeah, he made a few mistakes but appears to be very much into the game. Being a pilot and a computer geek for thirty years or so, I certainly can relate to the guy when I see he sponsored Spaceship One. He is at least trying. I even think that he owns this Website: Silicon Investor? Very few know him and the others make up stories. Go figure. You and I will never know the complete story. Not until PA writes it himself.

The real question is would he be willing to give up his current investment in Charter (BK) or try to take it back and revive it without the eye of the public. I keep reminding myself that even I have not tossed out cable. It has only gotten better year by year. I even have a Voip phone now. We live on Lake Michigan and the dunes will not allow us to use our cellular phones here. Such is technology. In view of what has been happening in the cable business, I would will place my bets on this going private or it turns around with improved management and market demand for product.

Patience my friends. Nothing else is on fire that I can see anyways....
