Happy 4th to one and all. Samuel Peter looked good in knocking out nothing much Taurus Sykes on Saturday. I didn't learn anything more about Peter after this fight that I didn't already know. Peter has a lot of Ike "The President" Ibeabuchi in him but his handlers are moving him much more carefully and slowly. Ike had already beaten two excellent fighters by his 20th fight (Tua and Byrd) while Peter hasn't fought anyone near the top 20. Can you believe it's been six years since Ibeabuchi's last fight where he KO'd Chris Byrd in 5 round no less? They are keeping Peter busy which is good but it's now time to step up in class. Guys like Maskaev, Briggs, Guinn (sadly this is what Guinn has fallen to) and Jirov should be the next step. These fighters will ask questions of Peter that need to be answered.

I'm already excited about Hopkins-Taylor on July 16. I'm very interested in your thoughts on the fight, e, as well as others on the board.
