Jesus Christ stood for three main causes. Love everyone including thy enemies, give away your wealth to the poor because rich people can't get to heaven and peace on earth/blessed are the peace-makers. None of the above are practiced by the rightwing Bushies. Bush-Cheney's administration has been stripping environmental laws since day one, one of their main objectives. They have made pollution control "voluntary" which means it doesn't get done. They have snubbed the world community on on version of the Kyoto Treaty and lied by saying that cutting pollution costs jobs. In fact it's been proven in many places in the world that a clean environment = a longterm sustainable economy while pollution gradually kills an economy. Goes back to the Golden Goose nursery rhyme. You don't kill the goose just for short-term profits.
