My research was honest. The problem is, the smearvets have spammed the internet with the same phony stories, morphing Kerry with this guy Hubbard whom they claim was "controlled by the communists". As if Kerry would ever let himself be controlled by communists. So the smearvets discredit themselves again with this sort of wild, dishonest exaggerating. Finding reliable facts amidst the smearvet toxic waste dump is difficult. I finally found a reliable source saying Kerry was in Paris, but I missed the CSPAN article you found, which I commend you for using. CSPAN is a reliable source, unlike the usual Newsmax, smearvets, WorldNetDaily crap we see here too often. Use CSPAN from now on as your source and you will be listened to. I stand corrected. But now I know for sure Kerry did the right thing. That CSPAN article also includes one of the most amazing and factually correct speeches I've ever heard from the Vietnam era. Even at 27 years old, Kerry sounded like he should be running the country. He told the truth. Which is what scared Nixon so much. Which is why he and Colson started the original smearvets in 1971, led by John O'Neill, a man who hasn't told the truth once about John Kerry.
