So any country that is so obviously, one-sidedly bashed by the U.N. has every right to ignore it as unjust.

Did it ever occur to you that perhaps Israel is "one-sidedly bashed by the U.N." because its actions go the most against anti-UN charter of any country? Israel denies the citizens of the occupied territories their right to self determination, and the country doesn't even have any agreed upon borders. What other country does that?

What resolutions can the UN pass against Palestinians? They are basically a bunch of stateless, nationless peasants in their current situation. It would be like the UN passing a resolution pertaining to the stateless Roma gypsies that migrate around Romania and Bulgaria.

Why do you think the U.S. feel compelled to take Israel's side on many things? It is to provide some balance to that part of the world.

Israel doesn't provide balance to the ME; rather, it is the cause of much of the imbalance.
