I think it is great to compare Felt to Rove on July 4th.

From the Declaration of Independence:
"... to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed."

Our government is "FOR THE PEOPLE". When Felt helped Woodward and Bernstein, he was providing information TO THE PEOPLE that our government was involved in crimes.

If the allegations against Rove are true, he was not working for the people; Rove was working against the interests of the people.

Felt's actions were heroic. Rove's actions, if true, were against the people and treasonous to America.
