It's interesting that the left thinks this decision made it much easier for the wealthy to take the property of the poor. At the same time, the right thinks this decision made it much easier for the government to take from the wealthy and give it to everyone including the poor.

There's something for everyone to be upset about but if Bush could turn a borrowed $600K into $14 million in a handful of years using the power of eminent domain, then this kind of thing has been going on for a long time.

It seems that the entire point is avoiding corruption and promoting due process. Aside from the references to Tianammen square, their point appears to be the problem of corruption.
