The argument was about the morality. Inept wouldn't be immoral. If you want to debate the issue of ineptness than we can do that to but don't confuse the two.

The Kyoto Treaty was by no means dead.

With a 98-0 vote for ratification, plus the fact that the countries that did agree to it are mostly increasing rather then reducing CO2 emissions it was dead.


Name one example of cutting down pollution costing jobs.


Name one tha didn't cost jobs. You might find a few but just about every enivronmental law of any impact hurts jobs. If you add a cost to do business you discourage economic growth. It may be worth it in some cases, but the tradeoff should be made with open eyes not blind adherence to environmental dogma.
