No, I haven't done BD; I'm afraid truck Shadowfax burns gas. The next project I'm saving up for is a new truck, tho. BD, or plug in BD hybrid if it's out by then. I'm going solar, so electricity is good for me.
When push comes to shove, I'll plug my creek in, too, but not until I get paid or the grid goes down.Maybe get a small hydro and stash it B4 I get a new vehicle.
A friend of my son's, a guy I consider a total klutz loser, went total homemade BD. Made his own, equipment, too. Collects cooking oil every few weeks, and is running his truck, tractor, quad, and generator off of it. Way to go, Jason. |
