If you believe that, then why don't you believe that it is our responsibility to try to make that right? I, for one, don't think that the neocons started the war to make things right in the middle east. First and foremost Cheney wanted to control the oil to enrich himself. There were some second and third tier reasons for the war but the promotion of democracy was way-way down the list. There is no reason to stay and fight and die just so that oil companies have some obligations to the Bush cartel. TP
