I think that Rove's attorney is being honest when he says he asked the feds if Rove was a target, and they said no.

But that was then ... the feds are addicted to defendants rolling on each other, that is how they got Martha into prison, they got an underling of her broker to roll on her regarding her statements to FBI investigators.

I think Patrick Fitzgerald is smelling blood in the water ... someone will go down, Rove or Scooter or someone else. Fitzgerald has the ultimate "roll" going ... either the witnesses testify or they rot in jail.
