That IS happening here. Just gave notice to one park that everyone to was to get out in 3 months and they gave the people 6k each. Guess what, they are going to build condos.

As for hurricanes and trailers. Yep. They are vulnerable but the great equalizer will be the insurance rates that will do the job of taxies in becoming a limiting factor on moving to the coasts of the atlantic and gulf of mexico. Years ago, people that came to Florida knew enough to not build in harms way. Now a Days they will stick them anywhere and expect FEMA to pick up the tab.
