SUBTERFUGE, GUILE and DECEIT -- The Bush Agenda is exposed
Re: Why do you think Bush let Osama go?
How you gonna fool the public into a war on terra without a suitable cartoon-character terrorist?
In order to justify grotesque and destructive military budgets, the the Bush Crime Family needed to deceive the American public into fearing a foreign enemy, preferably swarthy, exotic and menacing. Who better than a CIA asset like Osama Bin Laden who was perfectly cast for the role?
If Bush caught Osama "dead or alive", Bush would be faced with a huge problem of justifying his mad escapades across the planet.
Live enemies on the loose are a priceless asset to the military-industrial complex. Who would have guessed that they could be so clever and so successful at deceiving the American public into thinking that they are more threatened by a rag-tag band of desperadoes than they were by the nuclear armed U.S.S.R.? This is not much of a recommendation for the rationality of the average American, unfortunately. Gullibility and blind obeisance to authority seem to be the main characteristics of Americans today, again unfortunately for the sake of democracy.
The gullibility of the public astounds me. They seem to show little if any skepticism and almost none of the "perpetual vigilance" about domestic enemies of the People that our Founding Fathers had wisely counselled.
*** As a historical note, in the aftermath of 9/11, I was not a skeptic of the official story for months. It was only after I read about the infamous airlift of al Qaeda operatives from Kunduz, Afghanistan in November, 2001 that I realized that the criminal elements who have seized control of the U.S. government were engaging in massive deceptions.
Here is an archived copy of "The Getaway" by Seymour Hersh which first apppeared in The New Yorker.

What is important is to see the patterns of deceit that are involved here. The al Qaeda operatives who were airlifted out of Kunduz with full authorization from the highest ranks of the U.S. military were, in large part, forces that had been armed, trained and supported by the CIA in "Charlie's War" against the Soviets. These are are the infamous mujahideen fighters. After their escape from Kunduz, they next were spotted in the Kashmir where they fomented a serious escalation in hostilities there, bringing India and Pakistan to the brink of a nuclear war, and bringing U.S. arms merchant lots of new business opportunities in New Delhi and Islamabad.
You see, this whole game is rotten. It's all about war profiteering and the American public just don't have enough information presented to them to see through the chicanery.
