Hitchens rarely gets it right.

The important part of his essay was this:

The Iraqis knew before the "war" part of the occupation was over that the way to defeat us was to convince our MSM that we couldn't win. They executed one woman for greeting us joyfully. They have continued on with this approach. If they can get us to cut and run, they win.
