Lower doses of antigen often produce higher antibody responses. There's a phenomenon where, for many antigens, a bolus of antigen leads to a markedly reduced response (high dose tolerance) to subsequent challenge with known, effective doses.

For low doses of antigen, there's a dose response. You're correct......... beyond a given dose, you'll get no further antibody and you can start to see reduced levels.
