the past needs to be remembered as long as Brinker advertises a record to sell his market timing abilities which leaves out his QQQQ advice.

Yes. For sure, I agree wholeheartedly. Anyone who wants to ignore the past record of Brinker is just diddling with themselves. Frankly, I can't believe any experienced investor would say something like "forget the past". It's a sign of immaturity and just a dumb thing to say.

Apparently, we have some gun slinger traders who have come out of the desert now that the bull market is at high noon in it's cycle. We always see this happen. They ride into town, start shooting up the market and they have a few successes at hitting things. As we've said in the past right here on SI, even a monkey throwing darts can make money in a bull market. To put it into the cowboy context, these gun slingers can't hit a tin can with both guns but they can scatter a few birds.

Cramer's show "Mad Money", IMHO, is another sign of this. No one in their right mind would pay any attention to someone spouting off 5 second tips about stocks....except at the top of a bull market when everyone hangs on every stupid tip they can get. Making money in a bull market takes little skill and just a bit of dumb luck.

We'll see more of this kind of mindless obsession with the market all the way up to the top just like before. All the gun slingers are having fun gambling with the life savings. We'll see how many of them survive to play in the next bull cycle.
