I don't know anything substantive about it. I worked for the Navy many years ago (at one of their R&D labs), and in those days the Marines did a lot of things in their own, incompatible with the Navy, way. That may have changed, but I rather doubt it, so I think that you can't conclude anything one way or the other from this contract.
