Long-time lurker dragged out of hiding
Hi guys --
I've been following the Value Investing thread on Silicon Investor since it started. Old timers, who can forget DSWLF?
I'm motivated to de-lurk because I want to slap Bruwin and applaud Paul. Bruwin, I believe that you recently posted links to an "investment opportunity". You would get a referral fee, and investors could expect ~8% monthly returns. I don't object to the referral fee. But that you suggested doing business with scam artists who claim 8% monthly returns makes me think either that you're a sucker, or that you take the rest of us to be such.
Paul, if you're ever in New York City, I'd like to buy you a beer or a taco or whatever you're down for. Me, myself, I'm ugly, rude and loud. I haven't met you, so I don't know if you're ugly, but you're certainly not rude or loud. You're an Internet Gentleman, and I salute you as such.
Moderators, if you delete this post as being off-topic, could you let me know, so I could try to send my regards to Paul differently?
