I know the feeling of having a beautiful inside out daughter in law. I have two of them who adore their husbands and their parents in law (us). We feel very lucky.

My question about fishing and release the fish back to freedom:
I thought we would eat the fish we catch. Is releasing that fish back to freedom an act of kindness?

Let's see the scenario: a fish minding its own business, was caught with its mouth ripped by the hook, dragged from the water, experiencing agony of almost dead, flapping furiously and when practically gave up, the hook was removed from that ripped open deformed mouth, and ... back to freedom.

Let's just say that fish is a female fish named Melissa, was beautiful inside out, just a lovely fish and has a nice good looking boyfriend named Luke. Now, Wanda which has turned so ugly with a deformed mouth and having a hard time to feed, returns to Luke: "Hey Luke, I am back, those kind people who caught me released me back to freedom ..."

What would Luke say?

Maybe it is just a fish so that there is no impact to us.
BTW I am not a member of PAAC or whatever its name is.
