The children are being indoctrinated with the salafi intolerance against the will of their parents. I think it is obvious that people trusted the fundamentalists like OBL because he promised to restore Muslim power. Last time I checked, the Muslims had complete control of their faculties. The terrorists exploited their support to spread the message of hatred. Only now are the people beginning to realize that the terrorists are not freedom fighters. Rather, they are sallafi jihadis trying to impose their intolerance on the entire population of Islam. Look at the patterns. They are killing Shi'a security forces. They are killing foreign ambassadors. They are condemning 95% of the Islamic population, along with the Christians and Jews with whom they associate. They are terrorizing the people of the ME with all of their energy. They are trying to purify Islam for their own selfish gains. The average Muslim way of life is being destroyed by these radical terrorists. Do not condemn them for the brutal oppression they endure. Cynically, I guess some people could Islam has been duped by it's own intolerance. They have lived in a society of propoganda for so long that they trusted the supremists for way too long. Only now are the real intentions of the salafi jihadis being realized by the average Muslims. Ironically, to avoid a total police state, it may become incumbent upon the families of the terrorists to expose their children. In police states like Cuba, brutal oppression has been supported for generations as the children exposed their parents to the police. In reverse, maybe the clerics need to issue statements encouraging parents to turn over children that support jihad against brother Muslims. Something needs to happen quickly to put an end to the practice of Muslim purification. As it spreads out into the West, we are naturally more inclined to blame the whole Muslim world for these terrible acts. However, it is primarily an inter Muslim problem at the core of this whole cycle of terrorism.
